Q: What do Park Lane Export's prices include?

A: The prices shown on this website are the price you will pay for the car if it is to be exported outside of the EEC. The prices are 'Ex-Works' from our headquarters in the UK, so do not include any transport or shipping.

Q: Some prices show 'VAT Free' - what does that mean?

A: VAT is the local tax payable in the UK on most purchases including cars. As a VAT-registered, UK based company we are able to offer vehicles VAT free when they are exported outside of the EEC.

Q: Are all cars in the UK available on a VAT basis?

A: No - the vast majority of UK cars are not available VAT free. Our expert knowledge of the UK market and taxation system means that we can source cars in the most effective manor for our clients to offer the best car for the best price.

Q: Can Park Lane Exports arrange for the transport and shipping?

A: Yes - part of the service that we offer is inland transport and shipping to you port of choice anywhere in the world.

Q: Who would transport my car?

A: We have our own purpose-built trailers and transporters which would be used to deliver your purchase to the port.

Q: Who would package & ship my car?

A: We prepare all our cars to the highest standards and just before shipping we cover much of the interior other surfaces to keep them in the best condition. If the car is being shipped by container we deliver it to a specialist freight package company that we have worked with closely for many years, so it can be safely stored and secured into it’s container.

Q: Which shipping lines does Park Lane use?

A: We have relationships with all of the major shipping lines giving us access to the best rates and services including containerization or Ro-Ro to some destinations.

Q: Can Park Lane arrange for a quicker delivery service?

A: We are very experienced at using airfreight service and are please to quote this where available.

Q: Can Park Lane arrange for Insurance during shipping?

A: Yes – we can arrange for cover under our own Marine Insurance policy to most destinations.
